Key Responsibilities: - Financial Reporting: Support the Group Finance function with a focus on year-end and half-year ASX Group financial reporting and audit processes, including preparation of key financial statement items and deliverables.
- Month-End Close: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of month-end and reporting period close processes, including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and substantiation.
- Legal Entity Control: Manage legal entity control processes, ensuring accurate and complete legal entity balances.
- Technical Accounting: Assist with the preparation of technical accounting papers on significant estimates and judgments.
- Finance Procedure Development: Develop and manage finance procedure documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process efficiencies, driving continuous improvement across finance operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across the Group and with external auditors to support the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting.
Who We’re Looking For: - Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting and finance, ideally within large corporate environments.
- Qualifications: CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Skills: Strong commercial focus, strategic thinking, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
