This role surfaces once every few years.
If you've built genuine depth in remuneration accounting and share-based payments, pay attention. This is a leading global alternative asset manager with over $15 billion under management, a $175 billion managed loan book, and operations across eight countries.
They're looking for someone who doesn't just understand this space. They want someone who owns it.
What's in it for you This isn't a reporting role dressed up with a fancy title. It's a senior seat at the table inside a sophisticated, listed financial services business.
- Own the full remuneration accounting function, including complex equity structures, deferred compensation, and incentive plans
- Be the recognised expert on share-based payments across a major global asset manager
- Partner directly with Execs, FP&A, and HR on strategy, forecasting, and scheme design
- Lead a team and genuinely shape how the function operates
- Work with global complexity, real scale, and the kind of remuneration structures most finance professionals never get close to
What you'll bring This is a specialist role. Generalists need not apply.
- 7+ years in accounting or finance operations, with real depth in remuneration
- Hands-on share-based payment experience (IFRS 2 / AASB 2) — this is non-negotiable
- Financial control background in a complex or listed environment
- The ability to translate technical accounting into commercial language for senior stakeholders
- CA or CPA preferred
Why this one is different
Most finance roles give you a corner of the business.
This one puts you at the centre of how people are rewarded, how incentive schemes are structured, and how it all flows through the P&L and disclosures of a listed entity. You'll have visibility at the executive level, influence over process and systems, and a team to develop.
If you've been waiting for something more specialised, more visible, and more commercially connected, this is the one.
