CFO

As the CFO, you will be a critical member of the executive leadership team, partnering closely with the CEO and senior stakeholders to shape and execute the company’s strategic vision. Your role will involve ensuring the financial stability of the business, driving operational excellence, and positioning the company for sustainable growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

• Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO, Board, and leadership team.
• Contribute to business decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.

Financial Management:

• Oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and drive initiatives to enhance profitability.

Operational Excellence:

• Optimise financial systems, processes, and controls to support business growth.
• Deliver commercial insights on pricing strategies, inventory management, and supplier negotiations.

Risk and Compliance:

• Ensure robust insurance, legal, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Proactively identify and mitigate financial and business risks.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

About You
We are looking for a CA/CPA-qualified professional with:

• Proven CFO (or senior financial leadership) experience in a comparable organisation, with wholesale or distribution experience highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail.
• A hands-on and pragmatic approach, comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record of building and developing engaged and capable teams.
• Outstanding stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and work effectively across C-suite and operational teams.
