Position Overview: The Financial Controller will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of (company name). You’ll manage the company’s financial integrity, lead a high-performing finance team, and provide strategic insights to the executive team. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations (GAAP/IFRS). Manage external audits and tax filings.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide continuous financial forecasting. Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company's financial health. Recommend and implement solutions to optimise working capital.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. Foster a continuous learning and improvement culture, ensuring the team is equipped to support the company’s evolving needs.
• Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial analysis and insights to support the executive team in strategic decision-making. Participate in business reviews, growth strategies, and new product launches.
• Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum of seven years of relevant financial experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven track record of leading a finance team within a fast-paced, growing business environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in ………. sectors preferred but not essential.
