Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance:
  Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations (GAAP/IFRS). Manage external audits, tax filings, and ensure all financial operations meet regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  Lead the annual budgeting process, providing continuous financial forecasting. Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives and ensure accurate financial planning.
• Cash Flow Management:
  Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain the company’s financial health. Recommend and implement solutions to optimise working capital, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and growth.
• Team Leadership:
  Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring the team has the skills and resources needed to support the company’s evolving needs.
• Strategic Decision Support:
  Provide financial analysis and insights to support the executive team in strategic decision-making. Participate in business reviews, growth strategies, and new product launches, ensuring financial considerations are embedded in key decisions.
• Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
  Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

• CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum of seven years of relevant financial experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven track record of leading a finance team within a fast-paced, growing business environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
